Janalyn R. W. Scott

Mrs. Scott is a Buncombe County native, having grown up in Asheville, North Carolina .  She earned her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University in 1999 and her graduate degree from Western Carolina University in 2001.  She then obtained her law degree from Appalachian School of Law, which is located in Grundy, Virginia.  Janalyn and her husband Michael, were “high school sweethearts”.  They have two sons, Ethan (4) and Tallan (9 mos). She has been a valued member of the firm since June, 2007.  

   
Mrs. Scott concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate transactions.  She also focuses on estate planning, such as the drafting of wills and trusts, and general business, including the creation of business entities.


Mrs. Scott is a member of Phi Alpha Delta.  She is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Real Property Section and Young Lawyers Division, the North Carolina Bar Association, the 28th Judicial District Bar, and the North Carolina State Bar.
